This is a Roundup.
That means recovery, fellowship, laughter, and stories you won’t find in the Big Book — but probably heard through the grapevine.

1940s — Local Gatherings and State Roundups
As We grew, local groups started hosting “Roundups,” “Jamborees,” and “State Conventions”.
These were grassroots events — meetings held in rented halls or campgrounds, potluck dinners, speaker sessions, and dances. The purpose was always the same: unity and fellowship — keeping the spark alive through shared experience.

“I didn’t get run over by a train — I chased it down, caught it, and rode it ‘til it blew up.”
“They told me to find God. I said, ‘He’s not lost — I am!’
“I finally realized I’m not the center of the universe…
but apparently, I’m still the main event.”
